UHMWPE rods and sheets are supplied custom-engineered. Alongside conventional round rods and rectangular sheets, Orthoplastics Ltd can supply rods or blocks shaped or cut to any size. Using purpose-built, high-speed machines, Orthoplastics Ltd can reduce customer costs by tailoring the shape of the rod or block to the optimum size for the component to be machined. Especially when engineering processes for the manufacture of tibial trays, we can reduce machining times to a minimum by careful assessment of the design geometry.
All products are rigorously inspected for contamination over 100% of all visible surfaces, improving customer component yields and reducing costs. Products are packed in opaque bags to prevent UV degradation.
To ensure that shipments received by the customer in pristine condition, all material is carefully packed in bespoke, rugged containers and to ease goods reception, all certificates are affixed to both inside and outside of containers.
To ease storage, material can be shipped in self-stacking, front-loaded boxes, eliminating the need for re-storage at the customer.
